As every evening, Madame gets ready in her office. She won’t have time to go home first. She defines her eyes with black eyeliner and enhances her lips with a carnal red. She closes the door of the building, and her heels click rapidly along the street.
Like every Thursday, she enjoys going to the cabaret at Place de la Concorde. Madame is excited, as she is every night. Sitting at the bar, she orders a whiskey on the rocks and lights a cigarette. In the dim light of the venue, she notices a silhouette facing her. She steps aside. It’s always the same Gentleman. They cross paths regularly without ever speaking. She smiles, stands up, and dances alone. Men come and go, trying to catch her attention. She always responds with her eyes. Madame is chic; she communicates.
But around two in the morning, as this dandy, with his confident and mysterious air, invites her to dance… she finally whispers a few words in his ear.
